Reading Sample | Spark Moments for Grades 1-3

During Advent, a small door to Haselweg opens in the classroom every day. There, children accompany Mia and Samir on their journey through stories full of friendship, courage, and quiet wonders.

Every "spark moment" is a small ritual: thoughts are collected, compliments are given, and personal strengths are made visible. The children keep all of this in their "spark house." This gradually creates a very personal Advent companion.

In addition to the ongoing main story, philosophical side stories invite wonder, reflection, and shared discussion. In this way, the material combines the Advent spirit with depth, creativity, and community in the classroom.
